Imaginarium Stone Project
Stone has many different looks and is used for sculpture, architecture, and other purposes. Even a pebble lying on the side of the road can be transformed into a tiny art object with a little spice of sensibility.
For sustaining the living legacy
Up until now, we have spent over a million yen in taxes and maintenance of this building, but when our financial situation became tight we came up with the idea of Imaginarium.
like an elderly person,
a pebbles speaks its own history
Architecturally, stones show various expressions. If polished hard, the surface will have a wet, glossy look, and if finished roughly, it will have a modest look. We made a small ornament by engraving illustrations by Kunihiko Kodaira on these pebbles.
